Looking For Focus

I apologize for the lack of updates. It’s hard to post something when I feel like there’s nothing to write about. I’m going through sort of a blank phase right now. What I mean by that is that I’m not focusing on any specific game. For example, March was all about Dragon Age 2. I went through May cycling through different games, the main one being Red Dead Redemption. Yeah, I know it’s old, but at least I got to finish it for a change. Prior to that I’ve never completed a sandbox game.

I’m still playing MvC3. Tried my hand with Viper and found myself wishing I can perform combos like a boss. I’m more at the middle manager level, to be frank.

My PC feels old. Well, it is old, but I’ve only begun to feel its age lately. I was unable to play Crysis 2 properly due to the horrible periodic stutters I’d get during gameplay. I got the PS3 version a few days later.

Crysis 2 is the first shooter that I played on two platforms. It’s interesting to see that my obsession with getting headshots on the PC turned into counting myself lucky if I even hit my target on the PS3. But at least the game runs fine on the console. I just have to work on my aim, I guess.

There it is. I can’t focus on a single topic because I’m playing multiple games and they all feel like filler, like I’m waiting for some title to grab me by the neck and refuse to let go. Maybe I’ll find it one of these days. Till then, I’ll still be juggling games.
