(NASDAQ:EA), announced today that the demo for 2012’s first blockbuster game, Mass Effect™ 3 will be available beginning February 14, 2012. The extensive demo will allow players to experience the all-out galactic war against an ancient alien race known as the Reapers from multiple fronts, including the mind-blowing opening attack on Earth that kicks off the single-player campaign. Players will go deeper into the campaign and also get a taste of the franchise’s new co-operative multiplayer mode as they preview the epic story, adrenaline-pumping action and deep customization options that lie ahead when Mass Effect 3launches on March 6, 2012. Rockstar Games has pushed back the release date for Max Payne 3 two months, the developer said Tuesday.

The third-person shooter, originally scheduled to come out in March, will now be out for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on May 15. A PC version of the game will arrive on May 29.

Soul Calibur for IOS Release Date Announced

The iPhone version of Soul Calibur will be available for download on the 19th, Namco Bandai announced today.

The iOS port of the classic arcade and Dreamcast fighting game features all 19 fighters and a mode list that includes arcade battle, time attack, survival, extra survival, practice and museum modes. Of these, time attack, survival and extra survival are compatible with Game Center’s Leader Boards.

The game will be a Universal app supporting iPhone 4, iPod Touch 4 and iPad 2. Namco Bandai did not share pricing.
